The Scoop: Rentals Near Jolly Good Irish Pubs

With St. Patrick’s only a day away, these great rentals near great Irish pubs give you a good excuse for checking bars (and neighborhoods) during daylight hours. We’ve searched for places close to the some of the best Irish pubs (as measured by Yelp). Let us know if we missed your favorite haunt, and may the luck o’ the Irish be with you.

Guerrero and 20th St (San Francisco) | 2 bedrooms | $3,200
Open House: Fri. March 16 @ 4:30pm – 5:00pm.

This cute and recently renovated apartment is nestled in the Mission district on a great street. We love the hardwood and the laundry hookups – especially worth it if you think this might be your last rental before making the leap to owning. It’s just a block away from The Phoenix, which is near and dear to my heart as it’s where I’ll be celebrating the holiday of March Madness.

W Lake St and N Halsted St (Chicago) | 2 bedroom, 2 bath | $3,000

This seems a little pricey for Chicago, but it sure is fancy. In fact, the listings says there are “too many luxurious conveniences to name” as well as the “sexiest two bedroom in Chicago.” Well okay then. We love the clean, modern look, and the proximity to Paddy O’Fegan’s which sounds like a fun place to get your Irish on.

Broadway and Inman St (Cambridge/Boston) | Studio | $1,500

This studio in Cambridge looks like a great first apartment out on your own. It’s got a shared garden and bike parking, two of my personal favorite things, and also high ceilings, lots of storage, and a great bay window. It’s also close to the Druid, another great Irish bar in a city packed with them.

What’s your favorite neighborhood bar, restaurant or gathering place?
