The Scoop: Where to Get Your Bakery-Smell Fix
If you’ve got a serious gluten-tooth, then this is your list. We’ve thought of some of our favorite bakeries in SF and found apartments with open houses this weekend that are close by. So feel free to stop by and treat yo’self with something afterward.
:: Open Houses this Weekend Near Bakeries ::
10th Ave. & Judah St. (San Francisco) | Two bedroom / One bathroom | $2,600
Open House: Sat. Feb. 18 @ 2-4pm, Sun. Feb. 19 @ 1-3pm
The Bakery: Arizimendi, 9th Ave. & Irving St.
The Apartment: This apartment has been completely redone. The two bedrooms are actually a master and a much smaller second bedroom, so we wouldn’t recommend it for roommates unless one person doesn’t have much stuff. It would be great for couples or people who work from home. We are digging the updated kitchen and bath, and while w’re not crazy about the absence of laundry, it’s close by, as is the N-Judah.
17th & Albion St. (San Francisco) | Two bedroom / One bathroom | $3,495
Open House: Wed. Feb. 22. @ 6:30-7:30pm
The Bakery: Tartine, Guerrero St. and 18th St.
The Apartment: This is our favorite of the bunch. It’s in a swell neighborhood and close to BART. Not only has the unit been recently remodeled, but it has laundry, car parking, and bike parking. It also allows dogs! We’d expect nice long lines at the open houses this weekend – this place won’t be on the market long.
385 San Jose Ave. (San Francisco) | Studio | $1,695
Open House: Sat, Feb. 18 @ Noon-1pm
The Bakery: Mission Pie, Mission St. and 25th St.
The Apartment: This cute studio has a full kitchen and a lofted bed to give you the feeling of more room. A back porch gives extra space for hanging out or storage, and there’s even laundry in the building. You’re close to Valencia and 24th Street for plenty of eating, drinking, and transport options.
