Stu-Stu-Studios: Little Places You Just Can’t Get Out of Your Head

Looking for a place for your minimalist lifestyle or that you can pimp out for Apartment Therapy’s Small Cool Contest next year? We’ve found some great studios for you to work some magic on and call home.

Manor Rd and Chestnut Ave. (Austin) | Studio | $670

This studio west of the University of Texas campus is totally close to lots of amenities, including killer Tex-Mex and coffee. There’s on-site laundry and the unit itself has plenty of kitchen storage and hard floors. What’s more, the management company LOVES pets, which means that you and your sweet rescue pitty would be totally welcome here.

830 Park (San Diego) | Studio | $799

This downtown studio has some great architectural details in a building over 100 years old. I’m loving the hardwood floors and built-ins, and it comes with a ceiling fan, laundry in the building, and allows pets. It’s a Walker’s Paradise, so so you may not ever have to turn on the gas stove to make dinner with lots of options on both Broadway and 10th.

121 Broderick (San Francisco) | Studio | $1,495

This studio is in a great neighborhood – in Central Haight and below NoPa. It’s been really nicely redone, with updated appliances, and fresh counter tops and floors. What’s more, it’s top-floor and sun-filled, so if you can make the small space of a studio work for you, this would be the place to stay for a few years.
