Dream Apartment of the Week: A Nob Hill Home Where History is Made

Dream Apartment of the Week: A Nob Hill Home Where History is Made

While clicking through the photos of this week’s “Lovely Apartment of the Week,” the dramatic architectural details like paneling, moulding and hardwood floors left me thinking of classic San Francisco style. And so, I wasn’t too surprised — okay, maybe I was surprised — to read the ode-to-San Francisco classic “I Left My Heart In San Francisco” was composed in the main parlor of this home. Really, in the parlor (!) and one with 26 foot ceilings at that.

Another non-surprise — this stunning and elegant home is located in Nob Hill, one of San Francisco’s most elite and lovely neighborhoods. Some of the finer details of this home include a newly remodeled custom gourmet kitchen (with a backsplash that I totally heart), a formal dining room, a dramatic staircase lined with a wall of windows and a luxury master bath. This being Nob Hill, the home comes complete with views of the downtown skyline, the Bay and Treasure Island. In unit laundry, custom closets and the option to lease parking next door just may leave you singing, “I left my heart in a fab home in Nob Hill.”

The Skinny:
